My research field covers the working life of health professionals, mental health, and inequality in health
Since August 2021, Jensen has been employed as an associate professor at the Institute of Nursing and Health Science at Ilisimatusarfik, the University of Greenland, where he teaches courses in fundamentals of care, mental health, methodologies, professionalism, and collaborative care in nursing. Currently, he is publishing working life studies on newly qualified nurses and on social nurses who provide care for vulnerable patient groups in Danish hospitals. Furthermore, he is working on establishing a project about improving the training and retention of nurses and . His main research approach is institutional ethnography and qualitative interviews focused on the participants’ everyday life.
